Strategy and Business Development

Soren Hastrup

Mr. Hastrup, Chief Executive Officer, focuses on the strategic growth opportunities in the commercial and government sectors. In addition to his executive responsibilities, Soren advises the leaders of high performing organizations around the world in optimizing their work processes bringing process, organization and technology together.

Soren accelerated quickly in his consulting career holding multiple program office positions during the 15 years preceding his current role. Beginning his career in Denmark after receiving his MS in Organizational Design from the University of Odense (Denmark)/University of Technology Sydney (Australia), Soren spent a significant amount of his career building education and training strategies and delivering high quality knowledge management and organizational change scenarios for global companies utilizing complex business systems such as SAP. Soren's industry experience spans aerospace and defense, high tech, and life sciences. He is fluent in English, Danish and German.

Soren is SAP certified, a member of APICS, and the Project Management Institute (PMI). He is a member of ACG (Association for Corporate Growth) and the Hun School of Princeton Parent Executive Board. Soren holds a Secret Clearance.

Frank Kiwak

Mr. Kiwak, Vice President of Business Development, is responsible for leading Telesto Group's Sales and Business Development strategies. His role includes the development of partnerships, sales direction and the overall marketing direction of Telesto Group. Frank has extensive background in enterprise software and services sales having spent 10 years with Siemens PLM and 3 years with SAP. His experience with creating and building strategic direction for clients ranges from multi-billion dollar commercial companies to various areas within the federal government spending the last decade building, developing and executing business within the federal government focusing on the Department of Defense. He has successfully launched multi-year projects which delivered high value and success.

Frank holds an MBA from Wilkes University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations from Susquehanna University. He resides in Chalfont, PA, with his wife and two daughters.

David P. Dougherty

Mr. Dougherty, Executive Vice President of Government Business, is responsible for developing new Government business, expanding existing Government work and supporting program management efforts across all of Telesto Group's lines of business. David has over 30 years of experience in management, sales and engineering in various industries. He focus has been in the Government and the information technology (IT) sectors. Some of his accomplishments include directing staff to consistently complete complex IT initiatives in support of Department of Defense and civilian agency goals and program management for major weapon system programs. In addition, David is also experienced in the successful identification, acquisition, management, expansion and retention of long-term, high volume IT support and services programs in the Federal Government marketplace.

David holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh and is a Master of Business Administration candidate at the University of Delaware.

David lives in Virginia with his wife.

Program Execution

Debra Patrick

Ms. Patrick, Partner, leads large Education and Training efforts from inception through delivery. She has over 20 years of experience concentrating on implementing and optimizing ERP systems within the government, higher education, consumer packaged products, manufacturing, life sciences and telecommunications industries. Her background as a controller and in financial accounting leadership roles provides the business savvy that supports her systems knowledge.

Having led SAP programs with user bases ranging from 10,000 - 45,000 people within the public sector, Debra has in-depth experience working with not-for-profit and government accounting operations. The last decade has seen Debra leading large organizational change efforts concentrating on end user education and training.

Debra holds an MBA from the University of Georgia, a BS in Accounting from New Hampshire College, is SAP certified, and is a member of ASTD, PMI, and Cambridge Who's Who. Debra holds a Secret Clearance.

Toralf Peters

Mr. Peters, Partner, leads Telesto Group's Technical Services program excellence. His successful career is based on his exceptional combination of deep technical skills and business process understanding. He began gaining his technical experience in Germany at what is now SAP-SI (SAP's Systems Integration business unit) where he personally developed much of what is now standard within the SAP system.

Toralf has in-depth experience with all SAP releases since the rollout of SAP R/2 and has led numerous technical upgrade and workflow efforts. Toralf's focus is on the areas that prove to be highly challenging for the CIO whether it is identifying the optimal use of existing solutions, defining custom programs, managing remote support or simplifying the usability of data for daily needs. Toralf has worked in the defense, automotive, life sciences, and heavy manufacturing industries around the world. He is fluent in English and German and holds a degree in Computer Science and Economics from the Technical University of Dresden (Germany). Toralf holds a Secret Clearance.

Dennis Leavy

Mr. Leavy, Director of Process Improvement services, has over 25 years of experience in professional program management, system and process design / development, application implementation, training, management consulting, supply chain management operations and related applications. Denny has extensive experience in systems integration, business intelligence, business process re-engineering, managing application development, and providing professional services for system implementations.

Experienced across all business disciplines and many different industry segments Denny has focused on asset management, maintenance, production, distribution, demand planning, finance, payroll / human resources, sales and marketing, environmental health and safety, point of sale / transaction control, laboratory information systems, data acquisition, and data control. The majority of Denny's experience spans management roles in aerospace and defense, life sciences, automotive, chemical, heavy manufacturing, and consumer packaged products industries.

Denny is a recognized business process and technology expert across the Army Materiel Command, especially within the organic industrial base in automated data collection, automated identification technology, item unique identification (IUID), electronic data interchange (EDI), in-transit visibility via RFID, and the use of SAP in logistics operations.

Denny lives outside of Pittsburgh, PA, with wife Kathy and close to two daughters with two of the youngest Steeler fans around, grandsons Jameson and Brenden. Denny holds a Secret Clearance.

Operational Execution

Julie Hastrup

Ms. Hastrup, Chief Operating Officer and Managing Partner, provides leadership in the overall operational running of the consultancy. She has over 25 years of business leadership experience focusing on process optimization efforts and technology implementations. Julie has been recognized for her work in bringing business groups with divergent views and cultures together to achieve organizational goals while performing in global operational leadership positions in multi-national organizations.

Julie's process background is in financial controlling and supply chain processes. She has many years of process and technology integration experience which complement her lean management approach. Throughout her career Julie has been called upon to provide expert knowledge in chaotic business environments focusing on process improvement, management control, and program risk management.

Julie has a BS in Accounting from The Ohio State University and is SAP certified. She is a member of the National Association of Professional & Executive Women and holds a Secret Clearance. Julie is an advocate for youth fitness and chairs the annual Princeton Kids' Triathlon.
